How to Instructions: Print Screen
How to Amplify and Bass Boost audio in Audacity
After signing into a computer, one which already has Audacity installed, find the Audacity program to launch either on the desktop or by clicking on the "start" button and clicking on "all programs."
Once you have launched the program, you will need to know about the most basic tools in Audacity. Refer to the picture below.
Now that you know the most basic tools, click "file" (at the top right of the screen) and look down for "Open." Choose the audio file that you want to edit. Click open in the pop up window.
Once you have your audio file opened your screen should look like this.
Now you can edit your audio file. Click and drag on the blue waves on whichever part you want to edit. Select the amount you want to edit. At the top, right above the record button, is the effect tab. Click on that and you will see Amplify and Bass Boost at the top.
First click on Amplify. You will then get a small box that says Amplify. This box will give you the option to adjust how high you want the amplification to be.
Once you click OK the amount of track you selected will be a bit thicker. Like this.
Next is the Bass Boost. Click on effect again and click on bass boost. This will bring up a box similar to the Amplify effect.
Once you have found out your desired amount of bass boost you want click OK.
You are done the tutorial for amplifying and bass boosting an audio track in the Audacity program.

How to Create a Blogger Account:
In this tutorial, I will instruct you how to create a blogger account. You must have an email address in order for this tutorial to work.
1. First off you will need to log into your computer and open up a Windows Internet Explorer on your desktop. The shortcut for the Windows Internet Explorer is the big blue E.
2. Next, you will need to go to this site to create a blogger account.

3. You will then see a large orange rectangle that says Create A Blog. Click on that box.
4. Then you will see a lot of boxes that you will have to fill out. This is only the first section of the creation of your blog.
5. The first box is to simply put down your email address. The box underneath the first is simply just to retype your email address to make sure there are no typos. These two boxes are in yellow. You need an email address because this will be how you will log into your blogger account.
6. The next box to fill is to type in a password that you will use to login. Again, the box underneath is to retype your password to ensure there are no typos. This password will be used for logging into blogger.
7. The box below the password boxes is where you will type in your desired display name. This display name will be used for signing your blog posts.
8. Underneath the display name box is just a box to check off if you want email notifications sent to your email address feature announcements, advice, and other information to help me get the most out of my blog. This is not a mandatory option.
9. Below the email notifications check box it asks you to fill out your birthday in the order of MM/DD/YYYY. For example 4/5/2010.
10. The next box that you will have to fill out is the word verification to verify that you are a human. There will be a picture with a bunch of random letters. Type these letters in the box below.
11. The very last thing you need to do on this page is to check off the Acceptance of Terms box. To continue on with the creation of your blog you will need to check this box off.
12. Once you are done all the steps leading to this step you will need to click on the large orange arrow at the bottom to go to the next page.
13. Now you are on step 2 of creating your blog. The first thing you will need to fill out on this page is your desired name of your blog.
14. Next, you will need to type in your desired blog address (URL). However you must check the availability of the name before you move on to the next step.

Peer Evaluation
I chose to evaluate John Shokpeka's video game.
Briefly describe the game, including its objectives:
The game is about trying to find the escape pod to the level. But its very confusing because he makes it think that you have to find crystals because there are crystals throughout the level.
List two strengths of the game:
-He added good detail to the game.
-He added a lot of enemies to the game.
List one weakness of the game:
-The game was a bit short and too easy. On my second playthrough I beat the game in 30 seconds.
-The enemies were not difficult enough to defeat. They are also really easy to run past.
Answer the three questions provided by the game’s designer:
Was the game easy or hard?
Easy. The game was easy because the enemies are not too difficult to defeat or run away from. Once you get the jetpack, you pretty much just fly up to the escape pod and the game is over.
Was the game interesting?
It was pretty fun because I thought that I had to collect crystals than go to the escape pod.

Pits Of Doom is a platform styled game. In the game there are many pits of doom. You have to get a few keys too to unlock a few locked doors. Ultimately, your goal is to find the escape pod to leave.
What is the objective of the game?
The objective of the game is to survive through the level and find a way to the escape pod.
Discuss two strengths and one weakness of your game.
Strengths
-I added quite a bit of details to my game
-I made my game challenging enough because you actually have to look around the level to make it a lot easier.
Weakness
-I should have made my game a bit longer.
What improvements could be made?
I can improve my game by making it a little longer and having more platforms and stuff on ground level.

-Good Concept (good idea for the game. Why would you want to play a game where you do homework?)
-Good Story Line (the game should be interesting throughout the game. It should also have a nice plot.)
-Good Replay value (the game should have a few different game changing options to encourage the player to play the game more than once and in a different way.)
-Innovation (the game should have some features that make it unique from the rest of the games out there.)
-Good Sound Overall (The game should have a good soundtrack, good sound effects, and good voice acting if applicable.)

Soundtrack of My Life
· I Am Rock by Rock – This song makes me believe that I can through any rough time of my life because the lyrics say how he is unbreakable. He also talks about going through the tough times in his life. This song also has a great beat to it.
· Amazing by Kanye West – This song makes me believe that I am amazing and that I can do anything I want. This song pumps me up for games too.
· Overtime by Ace Hood – This song is really motivational in a sense that it has lyrics saying to work hard. The song also pumps me up for basketball games.
· Remember the Name by Fort Minor – Again this song is very motivational with lyrics talking about how the guy is working hard. This song is one of my warm up songs too. The first time I heard this song was in Grade 6 and this song has gotten me into rap.
· What I’ve Done by Linkin Park – This is probably one of my favourite songs from one of my favourite bands. I have been listening to Linkin Park since Grade 5. I used to listen to this song a lot when it first came out.
· Almost Easy by Avenged Sevenfold – Before this song I haven’t heard much about Avenged Sevenfold but I am glad I did. This song has a really nice guitar part and drums part. The song talks about how he loses someone and that he can make things right again.
· Never Too Late by Three Days Grace – This song to me is great song to calm myself down when I am mad at something because the lyrics talk about how it’s not too late, it’s never too late.
· Kobe Bryant by Lil Wayne – Kobe Bryant is my favourite player in the NBA today and I was glad someone like Lil Wayne made a great song about him. This song gets me pumped up for basketball games. Overall it is a great song with a nice beat to it and great lyrics about Kobe and what he can do.
· Champion by The Game – Champion is a song where the it talks about how the guy is so amazing and nobody can beat him. I also like how The Game puts in all the teams from the NBA into the lyrics. This game has a great beat to it too.
· Live Your Life by T.I. and Rihanna – The reason why I chose this song for my soundtrack of my life is because it talks about just live your life and don’t worry about anything or anyone that bothers you.

Photo Collage
- This is a picture of an Xbox 360 Controller. The reason why I put this picture on my photo collage is because I enjoy playing video games during my spare time. I started playing video games at an early age and I still do play.
- This is the monument of Michael Jordan. I put him in my photo collage because he has been my favourite basketball player of all-time. He also inspires me. The reason why he inspires me is because he did not make his high school basketball team in his first year, but he kept working hard on his game and eventually he made the team. Then he went off to the NBA and has become a legend.
- This is a picture of a computer. The computer is important to me because this is where I find a lot of information from and where I do most of my school work. The computer is also important to me because it may have inspired me to have a career involved with computers and technology related to it.
- Here is a picture of Hong Kong. I put this picture in my photo collage because I have a lot of relatives living there and they are important to me in my life. I have been to Hong Kong only a few times during the 14 years of my life, but I am going again in February. This is also the place where my mother was born and my father was born somewhere close to Hong Kong.
- Now this is a picture of a basketball. The reason why basketball is important to me is because this has been my favourite sport to play since grade four. Before I played basketball I played soccer but a friend of mine recommended me to play basketball and I have been playing ever since. One day I hope to play basketball professionally or semi-professionally.
- Number six on my photo collage is a picture of my Jr. Bisons basketball jersey. The reason why I put this in my photo collage is because this is the team where I have developed into a better basketball player. I started playing for the Bisons in grade six and have been playing for them ever since.
- Here is a picture of sushi. The reason why it is important to me is because it is one of my favourite foods. It all started when I was about 10 when I started having sushi. However when I was 10 I could not eat that much sushi or else my stomach would hurt. I was scared that I would be only to have about 3 pieces of sushi for the rest of my life. Good thing my stomach doesn't hurt anymore because I LOVE sushi.
- Here is another picture of my favourite food, pizza. I have liked pizza for almost my whole life. The first time I ate I wanted more and more. If I could would pizza for the rest of my life.
- Here is a picture of school. You would wonder why a kid would put school in there photo collage. The reason I put it in my photo collage is because school is pretty much where your life begins. You do good in school, you will most likely get a good job. School plays a huge part in where and what you will do when you will get older.
- Last, but not least, is a picture of an iPod. The reason why an iPod is a big part of my life is because when I need time alone or if I need to get pumped up for a basketball game. I would get my iPod and listen to music to calm down or get pumped up. I have had an iPod for about 3 years.
